How many sessions will I require? The one question I get asked the most. The exact number of sessions you will need depends entirely on how much time you are committing to treatment. Full facial hair removal requires between 60 to 120 minutes every week or two and can take a minimum of 12 to 18 months, or sometimes longer. Small less dense facial areas require less treatment. It’s impossible to answer the question. Everyone’s journey is unique but the one thing that is similar is the results and feeling confident with the process.

What does a typical electrolysis session for facial hair removal look like?
We begin by thoroughly cleansing the skin to ensure a sterile surface.
Using high magnification loops and lighting, each hair on the upper and lower lip or facial area is treated individually with a fine sterile probe entered directly into the natural opening of the hair follicle, followed by treating and removing the visible hair.
After treatment it is completely normal to experience slight redness or minor swelling, which typically subsides within a few hours. We always complete the session with a soothing, protective topical application to calm the skin and support the skin’s natural healing process and a soothing cold therapy treatment to relieve any inflammation ✨

Electrolysis is treating each hair follicle individually is what makes electrolysis uniquely effective and can be applied to almost all areas of the face and body.
Areas I’ve treated include, basically I don’t think there’s an area that I haven’t treated, apart from inside the ears and nostrils which cannot be treated with electrolysis.

Facial hair growth is so common and sadly it’s something that a lot of women do not discuss or know what the best solution is to remove the hair. I meet so many women who have increased hair growth due to other methods. Please avoid temporary methods and laser for facial areas. Electrolysis works and it will remove the hair growth permanently without effecting the surrounding finer hairs or the skin.

My lovely client treated over 12 months for lip and chin area. Amazing results following a treatment plan of Blend electrolysis and thermolysis for the remaining finer hairs for the lip and chin. It’s not just a probe…We use a variety of probes from stainless steel, gold and insulated to determine the best suitability and efficiency. They are all in different sizes too and we choose the most suitable length and width required for the hair type. We love Ballet and Sterex probes which are brilliant quality, individual sealed and pre-sterilised.
